Apple 'N' Honey Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2/3 c. wheat germ
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/3 c. margarine, chilled
    1 1/4 c. finely chopped apples
    1 Tbsp. wheat germ
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 c. skim milk
    1/4 c. honey
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Lightly spray large cookie sheet or grease lightly.
    Combine first 7 ingredients; cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    Add apple, milk and honey, mixing until dry ingredients are moistened.
    Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface; knead gently 5 to 6 times.
    Pat dough into a 9-inch circle.
