Alpine Goulash With Buttered Noodles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 lb. boneless round steak, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
2 Tbsp. beef drippings or shortening
3 c. coarsely chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. paprika
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. caraway seed
1 tsp. dill seed
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 pt. sour cream
cooked noodles
Preparation

Brown meat well on all sides in hot drippings or shortening. Turn cubes to brown equally.
Add balance of ingredients, cover and cook slowly until beef cubes are tender, about 2 1/2 hours.
