Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. liquid shortening (oil)
    3 eggs (unbeaten)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 c. chopped pecans
    5 large ripe bananas, mashed
Preparation
    In large bowl, mix sugar, flour and salt.
    Add and mix by hand the
    shortening (oil), unbeaten eggs, vanilla and baking soda dissolved in buttermilk.
    Add pecans and bananas.
    Pour into 2 loaf pans or a large ring mold.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
