Grandma'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter, softened
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar in bowl until light and fluffy.
    Add egg.
    Beat until smooth.
    Add milk, soda and vanilla.
    Mix well. Add enough flour to make stiff easily handled dough.
    Roll very thin
    on floured surface.
    Cut as desired.
    Place on baking sheet.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes or lightly brown.
