Butterscotch Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. packed light brown sugar
1/3 c. butter or margarine
1/3 c. half and half
dash of salt
Preparation

Put brown sugar, butter, half and half and salt into a 1-quart glass measuring pitcher.
Cook, uncovered, in a microwave oven 2 minutes at High, or until sugar dissolves and butter melts.
Stir until blended.
Cook, uncovered, for 45 seconds at High, or until sauce comes to boiling.
