Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. popcorn, popped
    1 c. peanuts
    2 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. butter or 1/2 butter and 1/2 margarine
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in pan.
    Boil and cook 5 minutes (candy thermometer, 250\u00b0) and add vanilla.
    Pour over popcorn and mix well. Bake in a 225\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, stirring at 15 minute intervals.
