Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. oats
2 c. corn flakes
Preparation

Cream margarine, shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla. Beat; add dry ingredients.
Mix well.
Add cereals and coconut. Mix.
Roll into small balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet 3 inches apart.
Press with fork.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Remove quickly; cool on rack.
Do not overcook.
