Ham With Gingered Pineapple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. canned ham
    1 (15 1/4 oz.) can Del Monte sliced pineapple in juice
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Bake ham on rack in roasting pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until thermometer registers 140\u00b0.
    Blend juice from pineapple with sugar, soy sauce, ginger and cornstarch in saucepan.
    Cook, stirring until thickened.
    Twist pineapple slices and arrange on ham.
    Brush sauce over pineapple and ham.
    Bake 30 minutes longer, brushing with remaining sauce after 15 minutes.
