Pecan Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1/2 c. granulated sugar or 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar, salt and vanilla.
    Work in flour.
    The last bit of flour may be worked in with hands.
    Add nuts.
    Chill dough. Roll into 1-inch balls.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes, until set, but not browned.
    Roll in sifted confectioners sugar while warm.
    Cool.
