Hot Water Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. meal
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    boiling water
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together well.
    Pour enough boiling water just to mix well.
    Add shortening.
    Form into palm size pones. Deep fry until golden brown.
