Quick Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c all-purpose flour
    1 t baking powder
    1/2 t baking soda
    1 t salt
    1/4 c shortening
    1 c buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Work in shortening.
    Add buttermilk and stir until well mixed.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet, leaving a little space between biscuits.
    Bake at 425 degrees until nicely browned, about 10-12 minutes.
