Cauliflower Au Gratin With Almonds And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small or medium head cauliflower
    1 1/2 c. standard cream sauce
    3/4 c. grated cheese
    1/2 c. blanched, toasted almonds
    cayenne pepper or paprika
Preparation
    Boil cauliflower in salted water until tender (about 20 minutes).
    Drain.
    Make cream sauce.
    If desired, add part of cheese to sauce.
    Reserve other and sprinkle over top of cauliflower.
    Place whole cauliflower (or broken into flowerets) into casserole.
    Pour sauce over cauliflower.
    Just before serving, sprinkle with grated cheese and almonds.
    Brown in moderate oven for about 10 minutes.
    Serves 4.
