Cucumber Delight Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. salt
    cucumbers
    1 small onion, sliced (into jar, not whole onion)
    1 garlic clove
Preparation
    Combine vinegar, water, sugar and salt.
    Bring to a boil and set aside to cool.
    Wash, peel and slice cucumbers rather thick. Place onion and garlic in jars.
    Add cucumbers, filling jar to top. Fill jar with vinegar mixture; seal.
    Refrigerate for 3 days before serving.
    (Liquid makes about 3 quarts.)
