Chocolate Fudge Deluxe - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    3 (3 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1 1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    In a 3 1/2-quart saucepan, mix sugar with dry gelatin.
    Add milk, corn syrup, chocolate and butter.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, to 238\u00b0 on thermometer.
    Remove from heat; pour into a large mixing bowl.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Cool about 25 minutes or to 110\u00b0.
    Beat with wooden spoon until candy thickens. Stir in walnuts.
    Spread into prepared pan.
    Let cool.
    Cut in squares.
    Makes about 2 1/2 pounds.
