Beef Brisket Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. boneless fresh brisket beef
    1 large onion, coarsely chopped
    salt and black pepper
    all-purpose flour
    water
    vegetables of choice
Preparation
    Heat large heavy pot.
    Add meat.
    Brown on all sides without oil.
    Pour off any fat.
    Sprinkle onion around meat.
    Cover tightly.
    Cook over low heat for 1 hour.
    Remove from heat.
    Keep covered and let meat cool to lukewarm.
    When cool, slice across grain for serving.
    Return meat to pot.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Cover and simmer 1 to 2 hours longer or until tender, turning slices once.
