"Papa" Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter or margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
5 eggs
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
5 Tbsp. cocoa (omit if desired)
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt.
Beat Crisco and sugar good.
Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
Add milk and dry ingredients alternately and beat well after each addition. Add vanilla.
Bake in tube cake pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 or 1 1/2 hours.
