Red Cabbage And Kidney Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    4 Tbsp. minced onion
    4 c. shredded red cabbage
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
    salt and pepper
    4 Tbsp. red wine
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 can kidney beans
Preparation
    In a large skillet, cook onion in butter 3 or 4 minutes.
    Add shredded cabbage.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar, salt and pepper. Add wine and vinegar.
    Add beans; cover and cook slowly 30 or 40 minutes.
    Add more wine or water if needed.
    Serve with pork chops.
