Mocha Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs, beaten
3 sq. (3 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
2 Tbsp. instant coffee powder
1 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped walnuts
sifted confectioners sugar
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in vanilla.
Add beaten eggs in thirds, beating well after each addition.
Blend chocolate and instant coffee powder together. Add to creamed mixture.
Add sifted dry ingredients in thirds, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in walnuts.
Turn batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes. Cool.
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
Cut into squares.
