Homemade Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or ground chuck
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 small can tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 can beans (pintos, chili beans, etc.)
Preparation
    Brown hamburger meat with onions; pour off drippings. Add tomato sauce; rinse can with water (1/2 cup more or less).
    Use this water. Add chili powder, butter, vinegar and sugar. Simmer 15 minutes, then add beans and simmer 10 to 15 minutes more. Salt to your taste.
