Fern'S Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3/4 c. liquid shortening
    8 c. flour
    1 heaping tsp. sugar
    2 c. very hot water
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Mix yeast and 1 heaping teaspoon to dissolve in 1/2 cup warm water; set aside.
    Mix together hot water, salt, sugar and shortening, then add eggs; stir.
    Add 4 cups flour; stir together, then add yeast mixture.
    Mix.
    Add 4 cups flour and stir thoroughly.
    Let rise and then shape into rolls.
    Drop into greased and floured pans.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 2 dozen rolls.
