Raisin And Nut Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c bran
1/2 c milk
1/2 c all purpose flour
1/2 c sugar
1 egg beaten
2 Tbsp butter melted
1 c chopped pecans
1/2 c light or dark raisins
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Grease a 2 inch muffin tin. Combine bran and milk in a bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.
Then mash with the back of spoon.
Sift together the flour and sugar and add to bran.
Add the beaten egg and the melted butter and stir until well blended, Do not beat.
Stir in the nuts and raisins. Divide batter amount the muffin cups.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.
