Vanilla Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 12 oz. can evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    In a small, heavy saucepan, whisk milk and cornstarch until blended.
    Whisk in eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
    Cook over medium low heat, whisking constantly, until mixture thickens and you can see the bottom when whisking.
    Cool.
    Makes enough to fill a 9 inch pan.
