Asopado Puertorrigueno(Soup) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large chicken thighs or more
    1 medium onion
    2 cloves garlic
    1/2 green pepper
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/8 tsp. paprika
    1/4 lb. ham
    2 cans chicken broth
    1/2 c. pearl rice
    1/2 c. fresh cilantro
    1/2 envelope achiote-cilantro *
    4 oz. tomato sauce
Preparation
    Put everything together in a pot except the rice.
    After it has boiled abut 45 minutes, add rice.
    Boil until it gets thick. Add some water, if needed.
    Also taste for salt.
    Serves 2 or 3 people.
