Beef And Rice Espagnole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or pork
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. quick cooking rice
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. sliced olives
    1 (4 oz.) can green chili peppers, chopped
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    few drops hot pepper sauce
    1 c. American cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
Preparation
    In skillet cook meat and onions until meat is browned.
    Drain off fat.
    Stir in tomato sauce, uncooked rice, water, olives, chili peppers, garlic salt, pepper and hot pepper.
    Bring to boil.
    Turn into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until rice is tender.
    Add cheese cubes, stirring just until cheese is distributed.
    Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
