Ella Eld'S....Finnish Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 qt. warm water
    6 c. white flour
    3 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast and salt in warm water using a large mixing bowl.
    Add whole wheat flour; stir and add the 6 cups white flour. Knead thoroughly right in the bowl.
    Cover and let rise for 2 hours.
    Make dough into 3 round flat loaves about 1-inch thick (use a rolling pin).
    Lay on a cloth to rise for 35 to 40 minutes. Cover with a cloth.
    Test dough by pressing lightly with finger. If the impression stays, it is ready to bake.
    If not, let dough rise a little longer.
