Gourmet Hominy Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large (1 lb. 13 oz.) cans hominy
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, minced
    salt and pepper to taste
    butter
    sour cream
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    1 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation
    Drain and rinse the hominy.
    Generously butter a 3-quart casserole.
    Layer the ingredients in this order: hominy, green chilies, salt, pepper, sour cream, butter.
    Repeat the layers ending with a layer of hominy.
    Dot the top with butter and pour cream over all.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake 15 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
