Fettuccine Alfredo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. fettuccine
1 Tbsp. salt
3 qt. boiling water
1/4 c. soft margarine
1/2 c. half and half, heated
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
freshly ground black pepper
Preparation

Gradually add fettuccine and salt to rapidly boiling water so water continues to boil.
Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally until tender.
Drain.
Pour back into heated pan.
Gradually, but quickly, stir in butter, half and half and cheese, tossing quickly so butter will melt.
Sprinkle with pepper and serve at once. Yields 6 servings.
