Classic Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup (light or dark)
2 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat eggs slightly in bowl.
Add sugar, margarine and vanilla.
Mix in pecans.
Set pie shell on heavy-duty baking sheet.
Pour filling into pie shell.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 45 to 50 minutes, until knife inserted midway between center and rim tests clean.
Cool on rack to room temperature.
