Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat
    2 c. water
    12 oz. can V-8
    2 beef bouillon cubes, dissolved
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    3 c. potatoes
    3 c. carrots
    2 c. celery
    2 small onions
    1 small bag frozen peas or mixed vegetables
    1 tsp. thyme
    1 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. garlic
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Roll stew meat in flour and brown in small amount of shortening.
    Combine all ingredients in large covered pot.
    Make sure there is enough liquid to cover all ingredients.
    Add water or more V-8 if necessary.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 5 hours.
    Do not peek.
