Gram'S Nutmeg Sauce(To Serve Over Fig Or Plum Pudding) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. boiling water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan.
    Add boiling water gradually.
    Cook 3 to 4 minutes until thick.
    Remove from burner and add butter and nutmeg.
    Serve over fig or plum pudding.
