Pumpkin Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. mashed, cooked pumpkin
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Sift together flour, baking soda, ginger, allspice and cinnamon.
Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream butter or margarine.
Gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
Add egg and pumpkin.
Beat well.
Add dry ingredients. Mix until blended.
Add nuts.
Mix well.
Spread batter evenly in well-greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
Bake 15 to 18 minutes.
