Black Forest Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9 or 10-inch) baked pastry shell
    4 (1 oz.) bars of unsweetened baking chocolate
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk (Not evaporated)
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 1/2 cup whipping cream (whipped)
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling (chilled)
    toasted almonds (optional)
Preparation
    In saucepan, over medium-low heat, melt chocolate with sweetened condensed milk.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in extract.
