Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. oats
    2 c. boiling water
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    4 1/2 to 5 c. wheat flour
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oats, sugar and salt.
    Let stand until lukewarm.
    Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and add to oats mixture.
    Beat in flour; knead until smooth.
    Let double in bulk. Shape in 2 loaves and place in greased pans.
    Let double again. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
    Brush tops with butter or margarine.
