Chicken-Fried Round Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak (1/2-inch thick)
    2 beaten eggs
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 c. fine cracker crumbs
    1/4 c. fat
Preparation
    Pound the steak thoroughly and cut into serving pieces.
    Mix eggs and milk.
    Dip meat into egg mixture, then into cracker crumbs.
    Handle carefully so all the coating stays on the meat. Heat the fat in a large skillet.
    Brown meat on both sides in the hot fat.
    Cover tightly and cook over very low heat for 45 to 60 minutes.
