Fried Okra - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. okra, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
salt and cayenne pepper
1 c. flour
1 c. white cornmeal
2 eggs, beaten
oil (for frying)
Preparation

Season okra with salt and cayenne pepper to taste.
Combine flour and cornmeal and season with more salt and cayenne pepper. Dip okra into egg batter and then into flour and cornmeal mixture.
