Southwest Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck
    1 onion, chopped
    1/4 c. salad oil
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. navy beans or pinto, cooked (may use canned navy beans; reserve juice)
    1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. cumin seed, crushed
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 cloves garlic, diced
    8 oz. tomato sauce
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion in oil.
    Stir in flour and add seasonings.
    Add tomato sauce and 2 cups of the liquid the beans were cooked in.
    Simmer about 45 minutes.
    Add beans and simmer until flavors blend.
