Batter Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. (1/2 stick) oleo
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 egg
    3 1/2 c. unsifted flour (about)
Preparation
    Scald milk; stir
    in
    sugar,
    salt
    and
    oleo.\tCool to lukewarm. Measure warm
    water into large bowl.
    Crumble yeast; stir until dissolved.
    Add lukewarm milk mixture, egg (beaten) and 2 cups flour.
    Beat until smooth; stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft
    dough.
    Cover and let rise in warm place until double in bulk,
    about 30 minutes.\tPunch down and shape into 2 dozen rolls.
    Place
    on
    greased
    baking
    cake
    pans or muffin cups.
    Cover.
    Let\trise in warm place until doubled in bulk, about 30 minutes.
    Bake
    in
    hot
    oven
    at 400\u00b0 about 15 minutes or so.
