Soft Shapes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. soft butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    pecan halves
    1/3 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    red or green food coloring
Preparation
    Blend first 4 ingredients.
    Mix in sugar and knead until blended.
    Divide mixture in half and color one red and green. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls and press nut half into center of each.
    Store in airtight container.
