Southwestern Grilled Cheese Sandwiches - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 sourdough bread slices
1 tsp. to 1 Tbsp. finely chopped canned chipotle chilies (optional)
3/4 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, thinly sliced
1/4 c. canned diced mild green chilies
1/4 c. unsalted butter, softened
Preparation

Spread 1 side of half the bread slices to taste with chipotles, if using.
Arrange half the cheese slices evenly on top of chipotles.
Scatter green chilies on top, then add remaining cheese and bread.
