Bachelor'S Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. beef roast
    garlic salt
    1 can Coke
    salt and pepper
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 (14 oz.) bottle catsup
Preparation
    Rub roast with salt, pepper and garlic salt.
    Sear roast on all sides in oil.
    Remove from pan; drain off excess fat and place in foil lined pan.
    Pour Coke and catsup over roast.
    Cover loosely with foil and bake 3 hours at 325\u00b0.
    This is good chopped up and mixed with sauce for barbecue sandwiches.
