Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    4 c. milk
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. broccoli
    1 1/2 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    In a 3-quart saucepan, cook onion in butter until onion is tender.
    Stir in salt, flour and pepper.
    Add milk all at once; stir until thick and bubbly.
    Stir in broccoli and cheese; cook until cheese is melted.
    Cook broccoli until tender before adding to mixture.
