Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
    3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt, soda and sugar together. Cut in shortening. Add sweet potatoes. Stir in buttermilk. May need more to make stiff dough. Turn onto floured board and knead lightly. Roll out and cut into biscuits. Bake at 450\u00b0 until golden brown.
