Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. heavy cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
    pinch of pepper
    pinch of nutmeg
    1/4 c. grated Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Cut bacon in 1-inch pieces; cook until crisp.
    Drain on absorbent paper.
    Spread on bottom of pie shell.
    Beat eggs, cream and seasonings just enough to blend.
    Stir in cheese; pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 35 minutes or until pie shell is golden brown and filling is firm.
    Serves 4 as an entree, 8 to 12 as an appetizer.
