No Brown Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground chuck
    1 onion, chopped
    1 potato, grated
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 qt. ginger ale
    1 regular size bottle catsup
Preparation
    Bring to a boil ginger ale and catsup.
    Pack and roll meat mixture into firm balls.
    Add to boiling mixture.
    Cook about 3 hours.
    Chill and remove fat from top; reheat.
    This makes a good dish to freeze or prepare ahead.
    Serve with noodles or pasta.
