Sweet And Sour Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. steak (2/3 or 3/4-inch thick)
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. dry mustard
    2 tsp. minced onion
    1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    11 oz. can mandarin orange sections
    1 small can pineapple chunks (reserving 3 Tbsp. liquid)
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Brown steak on both sides in oil in frying pan.
    Combine salt, pepper, dry mustard, minced onion, water and vinegar and pour over steak.
    Cover tightly and cook about 1 1/2 hours over low heat. Drain orange sections and pineapple chunks, reserving 3 tablespoons liquid and blend in brown sugar and cornstarch.
    Put steak on platter to keep warm.
    Put fruit and sugar mixture in pan with drippings and cook 2 or 3 minutes.
    Pour over meat and serve.
