Banana Bread - cooking recipe

1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. whole wheat flour
3 large bananas, mashed
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Sift the dry ingredients and add to the cream mixture, mixing well.
Fold in the mashed bananas, vanilla and walnuts.
Pour into the prepared pan.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool in the pan for 2 minutes, then invert on a rack.
