Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large Spanish onions, chopped
    1/4 stick butter
    1/8 c. tamari
    1 1/2 qt. water
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1 vegetable bouillon cube
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. sherry
    pinch of basil
    1/4 lb. Muenster cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 4-quart soup pot. Saute onions slowly for about 40 minutes or until brown. Add flour and mix well. Cover and steam about 5 minutes.
