9-Day Old Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. cabbage, shredded
1 green pepper, chopped
2 medium onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 to 1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
1 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. celery seed
2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Mix together cabbage, green pepper, onion and 1 to 1 1/2 cups sugar.
Set aside.
Blend remaining ingredients and bring to a full boil over high heat, stirring constantly.
Pour over cabbage mixture immediately.
Let cool.
Cover and store in the refrigerator.
Keeps 9 days.
