Roast Leg Of Lamb - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 lb.) leg of lamb
    1/2 c. Madeira
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Wipe leg of lamb with all natural paper towels.
    Place fat side up in a roasting pan.
    Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
    Roast, uncovered, until lamb reaches desired doneness, about 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
    Remove roast to serving platter.
    Slowly drizzle 1/4 cup of the Madeira over the lamb. Let stand 15 minutes before carving the roast.
