Sunday Treat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    salt and pepper
    sliced onions and cucumbers (thin)
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. honey
    3 whole cloves
    3 sticks cinnamon
    6 c. canned peach halves
Preparation
    Mix vinegar, honey, cloves and cinnamon in saucepan.
    Heat to a simmer.
    Add peach halves; cool.
    Chill several hours or overnight; drain.
    Serve fruit with some of the liquid over it.
